Our recent Kent Tennis Day was a huge success with over 200 people attending. The afternoon featured free coaching, as well as mini games for all the family, a fastest serve competition, and an inflatable obstacle course. The walking tennis event proved ever popular, as did our fantastic cakes and refreshments.

The afternoon showcased the fantastic work our coaches are doing in reaching out to the Learning Disability community. We held a free tennis taster event and there was generous support of our raffle and preloved clothing sale which raised funds for more inclusive tennis going forward.

The 10&U Kent Family Cup was a roaring success with 32 parent and child pairings facing off.

.

The afternoon culminated in an exciting exhibition event featuring Joe Cooper (ATP Doubles pro – Canterbury). Ruben Harris (Junior ITF wheelchair player with a highest world ranking of no 4 – Canterbury), Adam Brownsword (Special Olympics gold medal winning LD athlete and Canterbury coach), Mihai Bradu (academy graduate and Kent County 18&U Doubles Champion – Canterbury), Ella Yu (academy graduate – Canterbury) and Jack Wells (guest wheelchair player – Essex).

Thanks to Kent Tennis for their support and to the coaches and club volunteers who donated their time.
